About

Notes of macadamia nut, cocoa nib and a hint of raisin are complemented by a low acidity and a soft, creamy finish. Summer 2024 was our first visit to Pico Mirante, run by Adolfo Ferreira - we were welcomed like family. It's hard to explain what makes a great producer-roaster relationship but with Adolfo, we just got that feeling. He's warm, genuine and it's clear he really cares - not just about coffee but about people. Adolfo treats his team with real respect and they return year after year. There are thoughtful touches everywhere: he's swapped out petrol-powered harvesters for quiet battery-operated ones. Set high above his other farm Passeio, Pico Mirante isn't some sprawling industrial operation. It's a stunning steep farm dotted with native forest and natural shade.
