About

Baked apple, caramel, chocolate and a brown sugar finish. This coffee delivers all the classic notes of this iconic region. Huehuetenango is one of Guatemala's most iconic coffee regions - around 80% of the local population relies on coffee to make a living, so it's not just a crop, it's a way of life. We source this lot through Primavera, a green coffee importer who don't just move coffee around; they're in it to make things fairer, better and more balanced, especially for farmers. This one's called the Sisterhood blend, grown entirely by women in Huehuetenango. In coffee, women do a huge chunk of the work but often miss out on land, training, funding and decision-making power. Primavera work directly with smallholder women farmers, paying premiums for top-grade coffees with full traceability back to the farm.
