For this seasonal iteration of Pathfinder, we shine a light on the brilliance of Ethiopian coffee production. Enjoy a bright, vibrant profile curated to offer a fresh perspective on espresso. Changing with the seasons 3-4 times a year, our Pathfinder programme is intentionally curated to showcase coffees from lesser-featured producing countries, to create a ‘bright’ coffee profile that suits espresso brewing.

Roaster Notes

"Pathfinder this season is a washed Ethiopian coffee sourced from the highlands of Sidamo, a region long celebrated for producing some of the country's most distinctive coffees. Collected from smallholder growers farming at elevations of up to 2,100 metres, the coffee is processed and exported by Ranger, a company demonstrating elevation of coffee quality, community investment and long-term sustainability initiatives across Ethiopia's coffee-growing regions. In the cup, this lot offers a vibrant introduction to Ethiopian coffee, selected for its bright yet silky profile, with notes of raspberry, peach and milk chocolate bringing a fresh perspective to espresso brewing."
