Sourced from a cooperative of smallholder farmers in Santa Maria, in the heart of Costa Rica's Tarrazu coffee-growing region. The cooperative was the first coffee processor in the world to be certified carbon neutral, back in 2011. Most of the farmland is forest-protected, offering a haven for birdlife. As a honey-processed coffee, the cherries dry with their sticky mucilage intact, giving a honey-like flavour with good clarity and a medium body.
