Small Batch Coffee Roasters is a Brighton & Hove specialty coffee business founded in 2006. Its award-winning roastery in Portslade sources coffees from more than 20 countries and roasts them in small batches using Probat and Loring equipment. The company supplies its cafés, wholesale customers and coffee cart, while focusing on ethically sourced coffee, careful sensory evaluation and making specialty coffee approachable.

I’ve tried a couple of coffees from Small Batch now, and this one works particularly well for flat whites, with a really nice balance in the cup. I picked it based on Beanscore recommendations, as it includes Ethiopian beans - an origin I tend to enjoy. One I’d happily revisit!
