About

Since 2017, Manuel Baca has been deeply involved in managing and improving the family farm, Finca Pacpa, in the Amazonas region of Peru. Coffee production is ingrained into this family's history, a fourth generation farmer himself and many of his relatives are coffee producers in their own right, so it comes as no surprise that this coffee is simply excellent. Tasting notes: Floral, Bright, Expressive. Region: Amazonas, Peru. Farm: Finca Pacpa. Producer: Manuel Baca. Variety: Gesha. Process: Washed. Altitude: 1850m.

Roaster Notes

"NAME DISCREPANCY: the coffee was requested as "Manuel Baca Pacamara, Peru", but the live product is a GESHA, not a Pacamara. The page title reads "Manuel Baca Gesha, Peru" (displayed as "Manuel Baca Gesha PERU"), the URL handle is manuel-baca-gesha-peru, and the product's own variety field states "Gesha". Yallah's full coffee collection (products.json?limit=250) contains exactly one Manuel Baca product and no Pacamara product at all, so this is the only candidate - the requested "Pacamara" appears to be an error in the request rather than a different lot. Producer detail: Manuel Baca, fourth-generation farmer, has managed and improved the family farm Finca Pacpa in the Amazonas region of Peru since 2017; many relatives are coffee producers in their own right. Variety Gesha, washed process, grown at 1850m. Tagged by the roaster as Light Roast and "sustainble" [sic]."
