Catuai is a cornerstone varietal of contemporary coffee production, prized for its resilience as much as its quality. A classic washed process brings clarity and structure to the cup, revealing vibrant citrus, rounded sweetness and a lingering, syrupy finish.

"Producer: Carlos Estrada, Santa Irene. Region: Coban, central Guatemala. Variety: Catuai. Altitude: 1740 masl, temperate maritime climate. Process: Washed. Santa Irene is a 320-acre protected natural forest reserve, planted in 2013 with roughly 37 acres of Catuai, Geisha and Bourbon Sidra; Coban's proximity to the Atlantic gives consistent moisture and no dry season, producing coffees with delicate texture and floral aromatics."
